You may here the formula as a “double closing” transaction. Whereas the wholesaler is given a short-term loan (transactional funding) who purchases the property and then resales the property the same day to a Buyer at a higher price. The Wholesaler makes the “spread” from the Sale and his purchase price from original seller.
Another description you may see is:
The original seller is Party “A” and the wholesaler is “Party B” and finally the end buyer of the property is “Party C”. Transactional funding deals are referred to as “ A-B” – B-C” closing transactions.
